I fancy going out for a ride tomorrow to check out this Grims Ditch.

Is there any other trails I should check out on the way ?

Oh & can anyone send me a link to download a route to my iPhone ,I can't find anything on google

I'm in cholsey! Sheck on here is too.

A good route is grims ditch up through mongewell woods then across to Nuffield ( bit of road) down grims ditch again to nettlebed then across to huntercombe end then down the chiltern way popping out near the dump.

It'll be pretty hard going I think cause of the rain. Singlespeed maybe?

Sheck knows quite a good route that goes more through Stoke row that is a bit more weather resistant.

I've got some gpx files at home but currently stuck on a train outside reading as a train has hit someone at twyford.

There's a wmb classic route on bike radar too - search for chilterns.

Also search for cx sportive. There was a race the other weekend from woodcote and you can download the maps and could pick bits off that too

I'd be interested in gpx files as well. I grew up in Wallingford and occasionally visit. My dad started mtb around there a few years ago (nothing like starting post 70!) as well.

Even the more weatherproof trails are beyond help right now - and you're a brave man if you're heading out tomorrow... Its so bad out there I've converted an MTB for road use, as even conditions on the road are a bit dodgy! Hi Rob, am chugging slowly past Twyford as I type!

I do own the cafe, still going. Still has bike mags but a bit over run with hello mags at the minute!

I'll dig a few routes out and email over. Group ride would be good, I have two small children so quite hard to get out.

Nick - I got caught in that too. I was in the train directly behind the one that hit someone.

I was thinking about embarking on a search for the Hoy Grail. Figured it might be an easier option than finding a route that rolls well in the Chiterns right now.

Im only down the road in Thatcham, so when the weather , er clears a bit, I'd be up for a recce. Used to live in Tidmarsh, so know lots round Pangbourne and out to Nettlebed and beyond.

It might take some time for the weather to square itself away but soon as it has we should get out ! Looking forward to it.
