Can I get 29er slicks for my commute??

Err - you mean road tyres? Yep - lots of slicks in those sizes.....

rodie tires wont fint 29er rims. Well they might "fit", but i wouldn't trust them not to blow off in my face

Why won't they fit? The rims are the same size.

I run Panaracer T-Serv 700x25 on my Stans Arch 29er rims during the week for work. Never had any problems.

Swissssssssssh, they go fast.

The Wheel is 29" including tyre .. the rims are 700cc... thats my thinking, no doubt i will be put right if not... so you should find loads as above
