Does a bike fit sideways in a VW T5?
Looking to get one for general duties.

I bungee mine to the back of the cab seats. My large 5 Spot has to have the bars turned 45deg but its a pretty easy fit.

Sort of, when I just have one bike in mine I put it sideways behind the front seats. It fits OK with the front wheel turned sideways. It might be a bit tight with an XL frame.

I can fit 4 bikes side on in my T5 if I take the front wheels off. Two bikes ar no problem but slightly diagonally.

You can fit it in a combo length ways if you push the back wheel between the seats and the side wall of the van you then can bungee it to the side of the van

Fully built? Doubtful as you have the wheel arches in the way, but I can't check as mine has them boxed in...

If riding a 29er or lt full-sus even more doubtful
