Just picked up a great valued / conditioned VW Golf 12 plate. Reading through the paperwork it says, due to roof construction and aerodynamics, only VW approved roof rack / bars are possible. Is this a plot to spaff money on their racks? Or can I use the Thule guide and their racks based on their fitting guide? 754 feet etc... Cheers in advance
