the ONE time i have cycled to my work in the last six years i was rewarded with a lovely sunset, of which i got no pics.

I did take this of my half mile (out of 28) off road section ๐Ÿ™‚

The view when I'm not so rushed and go the "scenic" route as opposed to the road...

This was a recent mtb commute
[img] [/img]

The road commute is probably more scenic though I don't have any pics.

Up the gravelly hill. You wouldn't believe I'm a few minutes away from the M1 at this point!

therealhoops - you can ride along the sea front most of the year, it is only in July and August at peak times of the day that we're banned!!!

Is that somewhere near Trowell? It looks familiar, but I can't quite place it, somewhere west of Nottingham right? If so, you probably commute quite close to me, although I'm on the road, I don't think I could cope with Belper -> Nottingham off road every day.

Nice safe route in ๐Ÿ˜‰

[img] [/img]

Left in the canal form the night before

[img] [/img]

not as smooth as it looks
[img] [/img]

could have been a nice shot of the Malverns, if I could have been bothered to cross over.
[img] [/img]

Tea break, before I start work

It used to be the view down from the Malverns, like this

[img] [/img]

But now I've moved to Cannock, so now it's more like this

[img] [/img]

Biking to work is great... ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Joe

It is just after Eastwood, near Annesley, a Google map location shows it as this point: 53.050217,-1.267784.

I wish I could commute from Long Eaton to Trowell; it would be a lot quicker...!

Not quite as picturesque as some ^^ but I do get to take in the Sussex countryside on a daily basis. Stormy view from this summer:

[img] [/img]

And just before they starting harvesting:

[img] [/img]

I'll have to dig out some of the snow we had last winter. They're not on flickr yet...

No pictures of my current route which mainly uses the A27 and hence is boring though it is soon to change to a route through the newforest which will be so much nicer.
