I use it on Android (should be similarly featured) and think it's great! 8)

Only real criticism is that the menu structure isn't particularly well laid out..

I use it on the iPhone with 1:25,000 maps.
Download the free version & try it with the open maps.
If you like it you can then purchase credits for OS maps.
I'm very impressed with it.

It's very good and likewise use 1:25,000 I find the menu system fine but not sure if it's different on the iPhone to Android.

Just a quick update for a new feature they've added to the website - route planning! Stick two waypoints in and it'll work out a route between them using valid access methods (bridleways, byways etc.).

Great way to help plan a route...

It is fantastic and I can gps track for 6-8 hrs on my iPhone cp to only 3-4 with endomondo. Also phoned the guys at VR a couple of times and v helpful. Bought entire Scotland 1:25k for a great price after a wee barter with them. Can export gpx files. Agree that new route planning feature is fun - although it can get a wee bit confused at times, but easy enough to override. Go for it!!
