What are people using for straightforward video? Gopro or something else? I've no idea about how much to spend or anything - all advice welcome!

Thanks

Mobile phone zip tied to whatever. They're good on the sternum straps of Camelbaks. ๐Ÿ˜€

Still Gopro at the top IMO. The best cameras are comparable in quality but Gopro have the best packaging and mounting by quite a long way. The 960 is the default option IMO. Only the fisheye is a real downside.

Contour HD is a nice product but not so good for mounting, and if you ask anyone who got the first Vholdr how good the company are, you'll get some exciting responses- they launched what was basically a beta product into the market, totally unfit for purpose, then while denying there were any issues with it released a revised version which fixed it. So that puts me off them a bit.

Drift I don't know much about, but I was just watching the Steve Peat/Ratboy helmet cam footage from the worlds practice day and the quality's awful, I'm surprised they put their name to it- terrible bright/dark response, very grainy. It's possible it's just a terrible render or something but that'd be surprising.

Seperates are a pain in the bum for biking, and don't have enough benefits to justify that IMO, not any more.
