Just decided to hang all of our bikes using these Link

They work just fine but I had a mild panic that the weight of the bike bearing down on the hook might dent the rim!! This is nonsense right and I'm just being daft?

Right.

...and I'm just being daft?

Correct..... ๐Ÿ˜†

The rims aren't an issue.
Squidgy brakes from any trapped air moving around (ahem, Avid) and forks leaking their oil would be the things to worry about.
But, I'm sure it'll be fine ๐Ÿ˜‰

Being daft, your bike is under far more strain while being ridden than hung up.

i use the generic wall hook for my bike. rest the back wheel on the ground and then used to hook the wheel but to save space i take the front wheel off and attach the bike to the hook using the fork axle
