ill be riding from Nice to Avignon through Vernon Gorge. are there any off road options? or just great great routes through this part of France.

Would that be the [b]Verdon[/b] Gorge?

I've climbed at the Verdon Gorge but not done any riding in the area. A large area to the south of the gorge is a military firing range so presumably a no-go area. The roads are good - typical French country jobs but keep off the main 'N' roads as they are very busy because of the hilly nature of the area.
