I've not been over to the FoD for a couple of years but was thinking of a trip tomorrow. The Foresty Commision website is saying that the final descent is closed, (which kind of defeats the object as I recall), but seems to date from before Christmas;
Anyone been in the last week or so who can confirm one way or the other?
Was open 10 days ago
Rode it Monday 2nd and it was open BUT I think I only went as I'd seen that it was to be re-opened for the Christmas period, and the way it was worded sounded a temporary opening for the Christmas period then shut again. Maybe check with pedalabikeaway shop on site?
went a few weeks ago and was a lot of kit and chopped logs about. and some fencing but it was open. Wouldn't surprise me that they have it shut during the week etc.
Give pedal a bike away a call. They should know

You could always finish on the new launch pad track which starts not far from there instead.
Rode it all today, was fully open. The machinery is around the Enduro trails at the moment so just watch out when on or joining the fireroads.
