[Closed] Verbier Transfers

The Swiss rail service.

Who I've used many a time, dead easy.

We went back to Geneva from Martigny which is down the (big) valley from Verbier. Unsuprisingly the train was on time.

Drac: Any journey details? Were you ok with bike boxes etc?

The station is below the airport.

Geneva-> Martigny -> Le Chable and the bus to Verbier of if you lucky hop on the cable car. Sometimes you can get a direct train to Le Chable too from Geneva.

Never had any problem with bike bags they have cabins with room for bikes and parcels.

Cool. So bikes are OK on the bus then? That was the bit i was worried about.

The buses from Le Chable to Verbier have bike racks on the back and huge luggage areas underneath.
