Does any one ride a Mamtor? I know that STW gave it a bad write up, but you rarely see them advertised 2nd hand, so someone must be happy with them? Looking at th possibility of getting a 14"
I had one, it was a very good ride. Nicely made, very light.
Mine was a bit bigger than you would like, but I would say give it a try.
Did the steepish head angle present anything of a problem when descending? Most owners seem to rave about their climbing ability and singletrack fastness. Unless i have read it wrong seeems to have similar head angles to the Transitiion Transam
Steep head angle my arse, which is what many on here spout from unfortunately. My mamtor was great, angle of about 68.5 which is hardly steep. Was great, nice n light, looked great, lifetime warranty, no need to spend double to get a frame which rides pretty much the same unless you are anal about welds and car park cred so need a Moots etc.
Love it loddrik!! Good article in new STW on the "fashion" for slack head angles and wide bars
