Not racing but tempted to head up this weekend for some riding, wondering whether too much will be closed for racing to make it worth going? Cheers for any help!

Given the sheer amount of riding available in the valley you shouldn't struggle to find some quiet trails.

There were signs out on Saturday at glentress saying that zoom or bust and Janets Brae will be closed.

Riders notes out yesterday say 4 stages all in Glentress so rest of the valley not affected.

Thanks for this, I had been planning to go to GT on Sunday afternoon.

Which trails are affected by the logging at Golfie?

Inners would be a better option.

I don't know what the state of play is as of today at the golfy but the issue so far hasn't been so much trail closures as access. (lots of people saying "you can get up" but that doesn't mean you should- the FC and contractors have done a lot to protect the trails so paying that back by ignoring closures is a ****'s trick IMO, I'd set man traps if I could...)

Anyone know how Cademuir is at the moment? Haven't been up there in aaaaages

A mess.

Took a run over yesterday. Fallen trees and logging work.

Top part of vinyl justice, the bit into the quarry before the fireroad, is gone. Bottom part is fine.

I've heard the other main DH trail was gone too but didn't check it out yesterday

Google-fu is clearly failing me, I ended up on 2 different websites and 2 different FC social media channels, neither of which had that info!
