So i've got my cross tub glued, v brakes on the cross bike sorted and just opened the reynolds blue carbon pads and they've sent the road versions!!
disaster!
Spose i'd be an idiot to use normal pads on carbon rims? Or hack the shorter road style pads and holders to go on a v brake?
Gunna phone round bristol bike shops now and try and get some (only know reynolds and yellow swisstop)
Think I've got a pair of XTR carbon pads in the shed somewhere still in there wrapping.
Not in Bristol though. Near Brighton which shares a lot of similar letters with Bristol but happens to be a few miles apart :O)

Do you think i could use some salmon pads with them as there's not going ot be the heat build up youd get on the road
