Anyone using road Ust tyres? Pretty expensive by the look of it but is it worth it?
My Ksyriums look UST compatible to me...
I've converted my standard CXP22 rims to tubeless just using Stans Tape and am using Hutchinson Fusion 2 Tubeless. Dunno why this is not done more. I can run lower pressures, ie more comfort, no pinch flats, no flats so far. It just works.
I'm commuting on stans arch rims with normal 28mm gatorskins and a bit of sealant. Before that, I was running Alex 19 rims, an xc rim strip stretched and a 32mm specialized borough tyre.
I'd love to see ust tyres for touring/commuters. Would have fitted that Hutchison tyres but my rims are too wide.
Have you got a link to the tyres Dez?
Beg pardon, had to go mow the lawn!

Yep I run Fusions and Atoms. Wouldn't go back to clinchers really. Only cost of the tyres might sway it.
This is on DA tubeless wheels and taped up Open Pros.
Reggie - rim strip on the open pros or tape alone? Sealant too I presume?
