As I zipped down one of Manchester's less well kept roads, I saw what could only be two perfectly good bananas lying on the ground.
A quick turnaround, and I've got myself some extra free fruit for the day. 😀
What useful items have you found in the road when riding to/from work?
I did find two bananas yetsreday but after i'd injected them with formic acid I carefully put them back on the road.
similarly a muesli bar, a pair of Oakley Zeros which i felt guilty about keeping but it was on a regular roadies route so could have been anyones,(i lost them off the roof the car about 6 weeks later any way.easy come easy go)
about $ 2.20 in coinage,a french connection jumper size 12. gave it to a female friend.
oh, I found a very nice bra once, didn't fit though.
Plastic 2 litre ice cream tub of cooked bacon.
Spotted on a wall whilst walking kids to school this morning.
Unfortunatly I had no bread or ketchup with me so had to let it pass, sigh....
Cheers, Samurai, that thought did cross my mind. But why do that, eh?
I've also found a builders hi-viz and reflective waistcoat, which has proved v useful for winter commuting.
