use tracklogs or mapsource

you will need to save it as a 'course' on the 305

tracklogs is easier imho

You could use gpsutility (freeware) to convert it to a course (.crs) and then use training centre to upload it to the 305

i have a mac and use a programme called load my tracks.

This directly uploads and downloads gpx files to the Edge that i then input into Ascent.

best way Ive found is to convert them to a coarse, TCX I think. I use GPSIES online to convert, great site.

Go on www.gpsies.com to convert files. You will need to convert the gpx file to a tcx file. I know this because i have a 305 edge. You can then upload the tcx file using the garmin training centre that came with the 305 edge

I use Tracklogs; you don't need the specific map (or indeed, any maps at all) to upload a track, so you don't need to pay for the privilege.

There is also a website clickroute.de where you can load it as a GPX and save as a .CRS. Then use the motion based agent software to upload.
