Are there any good places in the uk that you could sort out between yourselves your own uplift?

At Hamsterley you can get to both ends of the DHs using the forest drive and Windy Bank Road.

talking of macc forest , You can also do a DIY uplift on stakeside, windgather, and some of the descents around errwood reservoir.
