I have a pair of pre servo wave xt brakes, and was thinking about buying new levers for them, eg -

Will it make much of a difference?

Probably not...they are also servo-wave so the action will be the same. The difference might come about if the reservoir (I think) is a different size...I think a larger reservoir copes with heat better so the feel may remain consistent longer...but I suspect the basics will be the same as they do the same thing i.e. initial pull of the lever moves the pads closer quicker then the other half of the pull moves the pads little but increases pressure...

For 130 you can upgrade the whole system to the m785 version. Have a look on rosebikes.co.uk
