Pedaled up from Langsett Barn up on to Cut Gate but ran out of time for the decent to Derwent so had to return and went back via North America.
Weather was great and I've never seen as many riders on Cut Gate, one guy on a hardtail in red shorts was flying, even the red socks were talking.
Never seen as dry for ages ahd the sanitised parts are getting better every time. Think it might be one of my best days up there

Hello - I was the guy on the hardtail in red shorts.... It was an excellent day, so much so that I did the drop on the derwent side twice, and the bit where I passed you twice. Paying for it now, with sunburn though!
Cheers for the track clearance - I was slowing down to pass the girls, only to here someone tell them to get out of the way - Thanks! Have to say, there was some impressive riding from the youngsters.
Hi Paule
We were impressed you were really on fire, always make way for the faster riders. They dont do bad for 13 and 11 year old girls
Tracey
Don't know about on fire, but my forehead and neck feel it! I wish I could have ridden that kind of track and bike at 11, I was pottering about on canal towpaths, roads and fireroads on a Raleigh Mustang!
Cut Gate was in by far the fastest and most fun state I've ever ridden it in, hope it stays like that for a few more weeks.
Rub some creem in and you will be OK, as a mom you can see that I'm well prepared.
