So is that all the customers still waiting for frames, either having ordered on of these, or expecting this as a replacement, ****ed then?
Last years accounts are due in a couple of months, or do we think they'll not bother and have companies house just strike them off?
they made a really good bike.
They didn't.
Well that's not exactly on message...
Glad you got your bike mate and it's OK. Makes you wonder how they got stuff so wrong.
Well actually, no its quite obvious. But it could have been a good thing.

Does anyone* think anything else? ย Itโs the cheap simple no effort method of walking away

If anyoneโs actually paid money for one of these and not had a refund weโd happily see what we can do to sort things out.

That sounds like a nice offer, good on you!
Hopefully it can become a bit of a virtuous circle, people who have been shafted can get some recompense and On One can get some goodwill too....

Maybe post that here.

Sorry this thread is loooong so this mightโve been mentioned before but has no one else stumbled across Occult Tattoos... one of these chaps looks kinda of familiar..
Yeah they certainly look special
That reads exactly like all the Sick spiel. Gutsy underdogs quit the 9 to 5 against everyone's advice and become wildly successful.
Same bollocks, different Instagram account.

and the Blaq Mass t-shirts before that. I guess there are enough people in the world that you can repeat yourself a lot to different audiences
Occult was the second (IIRC) business he started prior to sick bikes. Previous to that it was Blaq Mass clothing (now dissolved/struck off) and now Jordan has started Knucker Hole, a company that makes vegan 'cheese'. There is also Sick Corp, for the t-shirt business (not to be confused with Sick! Series, Fabio Wilmers brand.)
by all accounts I think the tattoo parlour is pretty successful, as the sick idiots don't have to do much.
They get guest artists in, who basically pay for the work space. So its easy money. The artists sell themselves/have their own portfolio/create their own following etc.
So its pretty hard for the sickheads to mess that up.
Good to see On One making the best out of a bad situation.
brant

Fair play, brant - that's a really decent thing to do.
Looking at the legacy, and future, of closed businesses, aren't we left with a question here?
Are they;
Not very good at running a business, but just keep on trying and failing?
Serial con artists?
That photo make them look like the Dodgeball Gym of the Tattoo world.
Apparently only 53.7% of UK business startups last beyond 3 years.
Bear this in mind when handing over cash to any new business.

Harsh (on Average Joes', that is).
I'm sure they remember the five 'D's of Dodging customers, though

that instagram post is beyond parody.
can they not be held to account?
Wonder if there's a way of finding out if they did give the charity t shirt money to its intended recipient...
Brant that would awesome if you could sort something out for those of us who paid money and got nothing ๐ !
Am ยฃ460 out of pocket for a frame I never got ..... should I PM you the details ?
I always wanted a Gnarcissist, I have read the STW article, but is the Hello Dave a Gnarcissist or one of the others?
https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FROOHD/on-one-hello-dave-frame
I probably can't afford to put a bike together, but I really did like the original vibe of Sick and the Gnarcissist
[edit] got my threads crossed.
Things have gone really quiet, even on this thread. Have the people who paid money for imaginary bikes just given up and accepted they're getting nothing? (Brant's generous offer aside)
Looks like Tim is getting into drone flying and writing stories about little piggies, Jordan is punting his nut cheese. Iโd wager bikes, and customers waiting for them, are a distant memory now.
Website is properly gone too.

Aye, when you're having to conjure conspiracy stories to convince yourself about why your business failed, you're in a bad place.
"Upon dissolution all property and rights vested in, or held in trust for, the company are deemed to be bona vacantia and accordingly will belong to the crown."
Is one aware of any jump spots near Balmoral?
Don't think that Liz has enough tattoos to qualify for the Sick! vibe.
One of the resigned directors appears to have set up another bike manufacturing company. Chap who resigned in june

Thatโs Lee, the guy they got to design a lot of the hardware and gave him a directorship in lieu of payment. You can imagine what he got out of the whole affair...
She's more of a piercings gal, Martin.
If you need me, I'll be in the Tower.
The strike off can be suspended if unhappy customers/suppliers lodge complaints. I'm not sure of the exact process but I'd get in now with claims if you've got them.
Ma'am would have some fun naming the rides...
Long and low? Corgi
Big wheels? Charley Boy
The odd one out titanium? Harry
DH one with plush suspension? Bentley
Too soon?

Ordinary looking one that can mysteriously allow you to smash through improbable lines and get away with it? The Andrew.

A friend's experience showed there are actually enough people in London alone, in an apparently small market (probably smaller than bikes), for larger ยฃยฃs, and over a longer period than the Sick guys managed. [No I'm not talking about fund manager referrals LOL]
The charitable view is the people are unbridled optimists with a great vision going out on a limb to deliver whatever the personal sacrifice required ๐
Iโm trying to think of a more apt metaphor than this...
Struggling tbh
Looks like Companies House have had enough of them too:
"Accounts overdue"
"11 Feb 2020
First Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off
This document is being processed and will be available in 5 days."
Hooray!
Iโve missed this thread.
