Off to North Wales on Friday...to say I'm excited is an understatement.
We have a cottage in a really nice spot about a 2 min drive or 5 min ride from Coed Y Brenin with plans to ride lots, climb mountains and generally have outside fun!
I reckon this will be the first of many proper MTB trips with my boys.
We did this same trip in 2015 and then Tignes last year and my eldest was just big enough to enjoy some of the trails on his 20in wheeled Islabike but now both of them have progressed/grown enough to be on proper 24in wheeled Saracens.

Plan is to start off with Minotaur and then use the Ffowndri to build up their confidence before trying the likes of Cyflym Coch.
Throw in some hill walking and maybe a trip to Shell Island and it should be a great week!
I'll be able to go out for a couple of solo rides but I think I'm more excited than normal due to the prospect of riding with my boys more than anything else.
