I had a big birthday today. Normally Zoe (Mrs Noise) pesters me for lists of stuff I want but she'd gone suspiciously quiet leading up to this one.
I'm not great with surprises, especially feigning delight if I'm less than delighted. I was getting somewhat worried. However, it seems she actually does listen to my inane bike ramblings at times as I unwrapped this earlier today...

I love the fact that she was concerned I might buy one anyway, so while speaking to Cy and the team about what to order (she's not a rider herself so would have needed some good advice on sizing, etc.), they agreed to put a note on my account (I already have a BFe and a Rocket) to make some excuses about stock and not sell me anything if I tried to order from them before my birthday. Top customer service once again!
After many years of waiting (and 18 months of frustration first time round), I now finally own a UK built Cotic!
Now just need to decide how I'm going to build it up...

By then in the UK a baked potato will be a highly prized luxury.
So.... By a McCains micro potato, freeze it till then and you have a bargain present for her that will have seemed to cost you a fortune!
And.... You won't need to take her for a meal!
