Ummm…RS Shock tune query

Hi,

Have no idea about shocks as been riding hard tails for a while.

Looking to replace a:

2018/19 RS Deluxe R, Rebound Tune M, Compression Tune L3

With:
2019/20 RS Super Deluxe, RCT, Rebound Tune M, Compression Tune L.

Both 210x55. Does the L vs L3 make any major difference? Am I right in thinking this is a smart upgrade?
