I'm very happy with Dura Ace 9070 Di2 on my road bike. Now I'm considering an ultegra Di2 groupset for the winter cross/training bike. Does anyone have any experience how it holds up in grit and mud? I don't see any problems from the electrical control side, I'm more concerned about the motors.

Cheers

They'll be fine, plenty of people doing as you say. Trek spec it as standard on the Boone 9 cross bike.

Used Shimano R785 Hyro's with 6870 Di2 on the 3 Peaks Race at the weekend and it performed flawlessly aswell.

Thanks for the feedbacks. I'll also be coupling with R785 Hydros.

Anyone running it last season who can comment on the longevity?

Not in mud, but I've run 6700 di2 since last September on my winter/audax bike and its been faultless through many wet winter rides/long audaxes.

Anybody seen any 'groupsets' appear yet on the UK or German sites for a complete set up with Ultegra di2 and hydro brakes?
