My lbs has a demo bike set up with ultegra di2 and I noticed the levers seem far neater and smaller than my 6600 hoods, looks like the 6700 are closer to di2 shape than 6600? Not handled them in real life but look like they'd be a lot comfier. Anyone know how 7800 shape compares?

Lots of dull questions I know, yes I am avoiding doing work ๐Ÿ˜‰

They appear to be the same shape and size as the Dura-Ace levers, and the latest 105 levers.

I much prefer the newer shape, to the extent that I bought some 105 levers to try out, and have replaced my 10 speed Ultegra levers with them.

They are wider at the bit that sits next to the bars, and narrower at the bit closest to the lever, giving a nice chunky bar end feel, but without being too wide where your fingers wrap around.

The pivot point is also slightly different, although I can't tell.

Newer shape just seems much tidier and poss more comfortable. Anyone know if 7800 levers are smaller than 6600? Prob not the thing to purchase when finances are low and not most important kit on the bike ๐Ÿ˜‰
