Although it should perhaps be noted that impeding traffic can be an offense.

Although it should perhaps be noted that impeding traffic can be an offense.

It should also be noted that you must not cross the double white line under any circumstance if the vehicle you are overtaking is traveling at over 10mph.

Holding up traffic is NOT an offence, read the highway code rule 169

There is no law against riding 4/5/6 abreast if you so wish, if may be considered impolite, and the police might not be best impressed, but it is not illegal.

Every man for himself seems to cover it.

I think "Don't Kill Anyone" should be added to the front cover à la HHGttG.

Maybe "Chill Out" on the back too.

Highway Code rule 169: Do not hold up a long queue of traffic, especially if you are driving a large or slow-moving vehicle. Check your mirrors frequently, and if necessary, pull in where it is safe and let traffic pass.

Remember highway code speak

but there is not a must....

There is no law, not best practice, but nothing illegal.

Regardless of who you are or what your mode of transport is 'don't be a nob' seems to cover it.
