Hi
looking for ideas for a 4 or 5 day mtb holiday in the uk, the plan is 3 blokes in a camper van starting just north of London, thinking of heading to the 7 stanes as i haven't riden scotland but open to any ideas. Don't mind a bit of wild camping or any recommendations for camp sites.
It doesn't have to be Scotland we are open to ride anywhere in the uk.
All riding full suspension 29ers, so any ideas are welcome to make a good road trip.
Cheers

Glentress, near Peebles (Scotland) is defiantly worth a ride. It's a 6 hour drive from London though, and then you're still some way off some of the highland hot spots.

By highlands I mean Glencoe and Ben Nevis (Fort William)...

The Glencoe route up the Devils staircase is good.

When looking at routes in Scotland using maps, its worth bearing in mind that whilst you are allowed to cycle on footpaths, it doesn't mean you can cycle on them. Unless you like a lot of hike a bike.

We did a similar thing up there last year too- they're so good I now don't do MTB holidays abroad.
