I tried to register on there a couple of weeks back and account still not activated.
Emailed them about it a week ago and not heard anything back.
When I went on the site today its is saying registration is currently disabled.
Anyone had any similar problems with the site?

email me (address in profile) and I'll take it up with the admins. There's been a pile of spam to deal with apparently

have you tried logging in again as I had the same problem
and did not receive any notification that I had been activated

Suffering same issue .. registered ... got initial email then nothing regarding my activation .. tried just in case and doesn't work.
