@eddiebaby funnily enough I did use the discount - thinking that might be the reason for the order deletion.
Yep it's definitely more of the same, I know he is already not paying people that have done work for him.
He has lost a certain HUGE brand so the Brighton store will never open and the Oxford store has been shut down for good.
Have emailed customer services but it now looks like it's a 'zendesk' setup - won't hold my breath for a reply anytime soon....
The Peakbikes web site is saying that they are operating the Brighton and Oxford stores under the Ubyk brand - a quick Google tells me that both shops are empty and up for sale or to let.
A chance for more investigative journalism...
I imagine he's inherited a lot more issues that he realized, so it's probably taking time to sort out or it's proved too much.

Lol its a one man band he's not even a certified mechanic.
Are people really ordering stuff from them after what happened?
Most odd.
Only if you use a credit card so your payment will be protected.
To be honest what's the point of taking the risk he is working the same way the old owners did, even with Ubyks shit trust pilot, Google and Facebook reviews people still order from them.
What a shambles.
Still no contact from UBYK/PeakBikes or whatever they are this week.
How do I go about getting a refund from my card provider?
Probably by calling your credit card company. Wild guess 🙂
I would also spam the shit out of all Ubyk and Peak bikes social media!!!
Peak Bikes are having their open day this coming saturday.
Guessing the new owner hasn't posted on this thread again?.....
They won't be getting a penny of my money that's for sure.
Well that has been an interesting afternoon read!
Spoken to a person (eventually!) - apparently item is on back order and should have it next week.
We will wait and see....
Thanks to the tip above messaging and posting on FB worked a hell of a lot quicker than other methods!
Can I ask what have you ordered? I me be able to shed some light on this product lol.
All in stock at suppliers mate, get a refund and get from someone else.
I wouldn’t be supplying them if I was a distributor & I have worked for one. Sigma Sports are for Wolf Tooth
Just seen this on there home page:

Bit late now really, how many orders have they had that they can't complete?
Surely when you take over a business & website you check physical stock against what it says you have???
The new owner didn't get any stock and he will probably not have the Credit with supplier's to get stock.
The Ubyk website is also now down!!!!!
So I am guessing laods of orders not being completed 🤔
You only have to look at the brands he has got or Hasn't got 😂😂😂
I am perplexed by this. First off why anyone would continue reading under the UBYK name, which frankly is worth noting other than established negative reviews and burnt customer base and secondly, why anyone would order from them again, regardless of new ownership. It’s a complete shower! I genuinely hope no one gets seriously burnt this time around
I thought the web architecture was one of the principal assets he thought he was buying. It's not like the good name of the company amounted to much.
Must admit, I looked on there at something, saw they didn't appear to be taking Paypal, and decided against.
How half arsed can this "takeover" of ubyk possibly get?
Aren't there laws relating to false advertising that cover a 'severely outdated website"?
Click on the website and it still sends you to other parts of the site making claims like this:

He really needs to get his IT muffin to just stick up a big holding page because he's not got this right just yet. If he carries on then it starts to look a bit like Sick!
The reason people will order from Ubyk is PRICE and PRICE alone that is it.
You Need to be able to pay your IT Muffin lol.
You only need to look on companies House to see that his other business make **** all money.
His pockets are not deep enough to run that website properly.
I don't think any of the main distributors want to deal with UBYK.
My willingness to defend the new business vs the sins of the previous one is waning... Whoever is now running it doesn't appear to be particularly switched on. Not ditching the name was his first, of seemingly many, mistakes
he’s got 3 of these seemingly

Well my Wolftooth remote turned up today from UBYK.
No email or anything to say it was dispatched....
Still, I've got it now!
We have a winner! Nice one to UBYK/Peak. 👍🏼
And, to be fair to them, one of my customers ordered something from Ubyk and got a delivery. It wasn't the thing he ordered (at all), so he contacted them and sent it back. They sent him a new delivery. It was the thing he ordered, but not in the colour he ordered. He contacted them, they said they'd had problems with their website and asked him to send it back but told him that the thing he actually wanted was out of stock at the supplier. He sent it back and asked for a refund.
At this point he also came to me. I winced at the name "Ubyk" and told him about this thread. I checked with the supplier and the thing he wants is in stock. I ordered it for him. He is still waiting for a refund from Ubyk / Peak...
I'm only being vague about the items because he's still waiting for a refund and I don't want my griping on here to be held against him. I'll happily give full details once he's got his money back. And I'm not pointing out another company's flaws because of schadenfreude - we all make mistakes. It was just the lie about it being out of stock at the supplier made me want to warn others to be cautious.
Oh my! www.ubyk2u.co.uk
The old Ubyk had evidently bitten off more than they could chew as a business, but at least presented itself well. Post take-over Ubyk seems to have done away with that pretence.
The lying bell ends still claim the Oxford shop is open? What is wrong with them?
Weirdly, I saw the ubyk2u van on Monday at a Leeds bike park event, wondered what it was about...
How the hell are they still doing any form of business wit h all the bad publicity around. Gobsmacked this never fell by the wayside
Haha what a joke. You can join the company through a franchise where you will get a van kitted out with Park Tools how much would that be to join the franchise because people have that money at their disposal!! Says 30yrs Cytech experience owner has none!!
Wow, selling service plans and franchises! Like bicycle timeshare schemes.
The new owner has one store only and that' Chesterfield.
With UBYK 2u it's a mobile mechanic franchise service which you pay a fee for the Ubyk name and access to trade accounts.
I have tried this idea with another company and its hard to make any money doing it despite all the promises and bullshit that comes with your franchise.
Anyone that gives him a penny to join Ubyk 2 u needs their heads looked at lol.
UBYK/peak bikes have been losing trade accounts left right and centre.
Stock from the Oxford store now being sold off at auction:
https://www.oxfordtimes.co.uk/news/17630969.upmarket-cycling-gear-auctioned-off-after-store-closes/
https://www.cjmasset.com/auctions/the-contents-of-a-high-end-cycle-shop/
I had a quick look through the first five of six pages of the catalogue, not many bargains there given the fees to add on and still three days to run.
