[Closed] Uberbike chainrings durability? (and PSA)

[#9515242]

Had one of their narrow-wide rings a couple of years ago and it didn't last as well as the Superstar and Sram ones on my other bikes, and started shedding the chain.

Was this just bad luck or have others experienced similar?

The PSA bit is Uber30 gets you 30% off over the BH weekend

Abigale ran one all last year on her Enduro and it's still going strong now her sister has the bike. If they did a SRAM direct mount then we would be using them. Just stocked up on some rotors and grips whilst the 30% code is on. Stocked up on the race matrix pads earlier in the month.

Thanks Tracey I'll give them a go, need a couple and the code makes them quite reasonable.

I wasn't terribly impressed with mine. I had to fit a new chain (snapped the other one) after 4 months and it had an annoying bit of chain suck and dropped the chain a few times after that.

Got one on my wifes bike, so far so good but it hasn't done loads of miles yet to comment on durability. No problems with the chain (10 speed).

Uberbike don't have a lot of the things I want in stock, I guess that will save me some money.
