Been using SRAM sintered pads on both my xc and trail bike, i have no problems with the performance, can accept they squeal like a litter of piglets when wet, and like the longevity. I don't however like the price!

Been looking at uberbike pads today (probably the sintered) and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them?

The SRAM ones are better, last longer, feel better. I've gone through SS, Uber, EBC, Goodridge and SRAM - and the SRAM Sintered are my favourite. The EBCs are also good, but scarce. The Goodridge are ok too.

When I was running SRAM XOs I used Uberbike race matrix all year round both in the UK and the Alps with no problems. Now on XT but still use the race matrix

Found the sram organic pads didn't last well in wet weather in my guide rs'. Swapped to Sram sintered pads and they were much better - just really expensive.

Currently in uber bike sintered pads and can't fault them either - and they were much cheaper. Not sure what I'll replace them with as the summer is coming. Might try some other uber pads - maybe the organics.

I like Uberbike pads.
Ordered some semi metallic ones yesterday for my Guides in fact.

Not tried those yet from Uber and they are dirt cheap.

We shall see. ๐Ÿ™‚

Semi metallic = halfway between sintered and organic?

Joe....

I read the blurb on the site but not really too sure to be honest.

I am not after "ultimate" braking power or such. Just consistency, reasonable wear and not eating through a rotor every few months. ๐Ÿ™‚

Shameless bump to get some more opinions from the folks who are 'working' hard this morning ๐Ÿ™„

Had the kevlar pads F&R front ones sounded horrible constant metal on metal sound. Switched to race on F and kevlar on R.

This works for me now
