[Closed] U-lock top tube mount that's quick to remove?

Sometimes I need to bring a u-lock and I'd still like to wear bibs + jersey (if wearing jean shorts I could hold the lock in the belt).

Any quick ways to attach a u-lock to a frame? My tubes are not round (BMC teammachine) but I reckon something like this might work without permanent installation (not interested in having a bracket poking out or anything permanently attached to the frame really).

One of these might work (been looking for a solution myself).

Looks great, as long as the lock doesn't dangle around horizontally too much? Reviews would be helpful.

If it's hanging vertically then it's unlikely to swing round I'd have thought.

However they are made for round tubes so I expect you'd need to try it.

Leaving a lock bracket on your bike won't affect your commute times much tho.

Those Twofish blocks are pretty good. I would use another one on the seattube, to stop it swinging about so much. There are a few different sizes, depends on the thickness of the tubes and lock.

Like those Zefal ones but the decathlon version is flatter so might play better with square tubes.

You'll need 3, 2 on the top tube and one on the seat tube to stop it flapping.

There's also the twofish lockblock which is the same thing but the straps are at right angles to the tube you attach to, you need 3 of those as well, one on the stem and one on either side of the bars, the D-lock then sits on top like a bodged TT bar.

Twofish version.
