Anyone ever tried this or other similar products.
I have a few tyres in the "in case of an apocalypse" parts bin.
And if this works might use them on my hackbike in the woods.

To elaborate...sounds like it is chemically reversing the vulcanisation process. Yes, the rubber will be softer, but it will also be weaker. I would expect to run into difficulties with tread separation, carcass splitting etc. wouldn't trust it on my MTB, let alone a car tyre!

Used similar stuff 25 years ago on Kart tyres that were a couple of years old and rock hard. Worked well with no issues. With the price of tyres these days got to be worth a look...
