Ok, so a mate is looking to buy new tyres. as far as i was aware you can get either folding or wire bead in single ply or dual ply casings.
he seems to think you can get kevlar ply ones?? i thought the kevlar was what they used for the bead in the folding versions.
could someone clear this little debate up for us?

Your both right: Kevlar beading for folding tyres and kevlar ply/belting for puncture resistant ones. 😀
