anyone ride a surly lht without mudguards, and offroad.
it say's 45 for max tyre without mudguard, so ifi buy a 40 cross/knobbly tyre...will it fit.
and a q for charlie the bike monger (if you are on) can i run a karate monkey fork on my lht.

I've seen pics with Bonty 1.8s in, can't find them now. I think it was MTBR or Bike forums, there's a few threads on there about max tyre size on LHT and CC.

Two inch tyres fit. With guards.
No, you can't run a km fork. It's far too long. See the surly site for fork lengths, even a 1x1 fork is too long!
