Got my new bike. meta 55 uk. its come with maxis high roller on front 2.35 and a larson TT 2.1 on back. the rear is all over the place on wet grass/ loose stone etc. ive been told by LBS 2.35 on rear 2.1 (not the TT). on the front. what is best? would a tioga factory DH 2.1 work on the rear with the high roller as i have one in my garage. help!
One of the demo bikes I rode had Larsens, absolutely terrible if there was the slightest bit of moisture. 2.35 front/2.1 rear sounds alright to me depending on your riding mind. I'd probably just fire a highroller on the back as well if you're happy with the front one. Or a small block, to give something similiar in intent to the Larsen but that actually works.
Definitely larger tyre on the front. Very odd contrary advice from your LBS.
