Just put some bonty rhythm pro's on the bike but cannot get tyres to seat properly. Norm tyres with tubes but whrn i jnflate them they run like they have a large egg. Whay am i doibg wrong? Is it because I should be using tubeless tyres or is it my rim strips?

Its not an agg as such, but it affects the top not the side, plus it's on both tyres too.

Not sure what that is mate, would speculate that there is damage to the tyre causing a weak spot that bulges under the pressure of the tube but that would happen to both tyres at once.

Had a similar issue on mine. I just put a small amount of soapy water round the edges of the tyres, inflated to about 45psi and they popped in nicely then.

They have a very tight bead, which can be a real sod to get seated properly on the rim.Check your rim tape's not overlapping into the area the bead sits on, brush some soapy water around the beads, and inflate to a much higher pressure than normal(we sometimes have to take it over 65psi).
