Im trying to fit a maxxis minion single ply 2.5 on a bontager duster rim and cant get the bead to sit in the rim properly causing quite abit of tyre wobble.ive tried fairy liquid round the bead and over inglating the tube but it just wont go on . anybody got any tips.

i really struggled with my minion, i put it near the radiator for a while so the rubber got softer then it went on miles easier

Ok thanks will give that a try.

There are a few tips:
Turn the tire inside out for a night
Blow the tire to max tyre/rim pressure and leave over night
The best is use gt85 around the rim and bead and then inflate to max pressure...works for me!
