Howdy all - this sunday I partake in the muddy sportive entitled Bucks Off road sportive! Normally it would be quite dry by this time of year but this year it will be very muddy.

Currently have two tyres on my bike and have a third one spare... Just debating swapping some around but not sure what best combination.

Front currently - Specialized S-Works - The captain - 29 x 2.0 dual compound
Rear currently - Specialized Control - fastrack lk 29 x 2.0 dual compound

Spare - continental mountain king 29 x 2.20

Would you stay stick, or swap...?

Cheers

If it's VERY muddy I'd say the fastrak won't be much fun and the captain is pretty much the same thing but nobblier.

Bonty Mud X for total clag fests. I think they're £20+ each.
