Peugeot road bike frame and forks which are away at the painters getting a new white finish.

This is/was a MARIN from early 1990's(?). Anyone got any idea what year and model. Brakes and gears are Shimano 100GS also got QR on both wheels and MARIN branded seat clamp and saddle. Going to convert this into a town/towpath bike but [b]not[/b] singlespeed or fixie. Any thoughts on colour, I had toyed with keeping the flourescent forks and matt grey finish but want something a bit different.
