As the title really - if I were to get two dealextreme bike lights ( http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.25149) could I run them off one battery. Pretty much like the Lumicycle setup. Would I get the same brightness but half the run time?

You might run into issues with draw- the wiring harness might not be too happy with the extra current, and likewise the battery pack itself might have a limit of what it can deliver. Not saying you will of course but it might be worth considering.

So how will I know? Anything I can do to check that all these things will be ok or is it just a case of trying it?
