Really I thought they fixed ths?
It's rideable but the front wheel looks dished, is there anything I can do?
Or replace?
Edit - out of warranty
Is it definitely the forks, tried a different wheel?
EDIT: if they are 2011 they are still in warranty, RS forks have a 2 year warranty.
Yes it's not the wheel.
I'm phoning TF tuned now.
Cheers didn't know a bout 2 years warranty.
Yep sorted. Spoke to tftuned and they will send it away.
This problem just goes on and on........and is the prime reason I ditched my SIDs for DT Swiss forks.
No help to the OP of course.
I spoke to SRAM UK tech centre several times about this issue, when i twice had lowers bend. They repeated (each time) it was only an issue with a 'small batch of early forks' but the fact that a 2011 set of 120mm forks proves the issues are on-going. They can't use the excuse that an old set of lowers (ie 2009) were fitted to 2011 fork either, as the 120mm lowers are slightly different to the 80/100mm lowers. SRAM also told me that the warranty is not extended from the original purchase date, when a pair of lowers are changed ie the new lowers don't carry another 2 year warranty. So what happens when they bend and you've had the forks more than 2 years?
This issue needs raising with SRAM en masse - simply not good enough, and it points to a design flaw and not a manufacturing issues.
if it's a known issue then I would use the sales of goods act.
