Ive got a set of '09 SId race forks which i have twisted i think. When compressing the fork the wheel flexes over to the left and the tyre rubs the forl lower. Ive got the wheel dished to the right to stop the rubbing at the moment but i want to put a new set of wheel on and dont want to dish them. Any thoughts on straighening the very slight twist and has anyone else had this problem with SIDs?

P.S. i think i twisted them on a pump track ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I thought lots of 09 SIDs had this problem, I know on mine the wheels seems to be off centre to the left even when not compressing them and it's the same for a couple of other people I ride with. Mine don't quite rub with 2.1 tyres but anything wider and they would.

I had mine checked by the SRAM mechanics at a race who said there was a manufacturing problem with the early SID forks and that whilst they're perfectly safe to ride it should be covered under warranty. However, when I returned them to Fishers (the UK distributor) they refused to warranty them so I've been stuck with them.

I don't think there's any way you can safely straighten them.
