Has anyone done any riding in Tunisia?

I'm possibly heading there with work for 2 weeks, would it be worth bringing a bike?

Nothing has been confirmed as yet so I'm not sure where I'd be but I would have a few days off so could travel.

A quick google search would suggest there's not a huge bike scene.

Mountain bike?

I hear the Chaambi mountains are nice this time of year.

We did a 1 week tour on rigid MTBs along time ago

Busy roads were a bit Scary

But we covered alot of gravel road desert miles. Staying the hotel they did the bar scene for return of the jedi and another at weird hotel that turned up as Anakins house in one of the new ones

Generally good fun but we only had a 1:1,000,000 scale map this lead to us running out of road in the middle of know where at dusk. An old man and his grand daughter put us up in a cave. We had no language in common
