[Closed] Tubeless seized presta valves

I've been told store the bike/wheels with the valve at 45° to the floor to prevent this. There are [url= http://www.notubes.com/cleaning_valve_core.aspx ]cleaning instructions[/url] on the Stan's website, but TBH if they've seized it's probably as easy to buy some new ones.

I dont think the OP has a problem with the valves blocking with sealant though.
Im guessing the OP is referring to the "pip" that you unscrew in order to let the valve core move when adding / letting air out?
My first suggestion is they dont need to be tight when you screw them in, less than finger tight is fine, they're spring loaded so the pip isn't there to hold it tight.
Second do you use dust caps? If you dont all the crud you ride through clogs up the threads making it difficult to unscrew.
Finally once undone, a quick squirt of WD40 or similar on the thread and screw and unscrew the pip a few times.

Mine do the same - it's the sealant gumming up the threads over time. I just replace the cores periodically though I do wonder if there's something that will disolve the latex without attacking the rubber seals in the core itself.

Remove core, rub a good blob of vaseline over it and work into thread.
Works a treat.

Mine gum up but taking them apart just takes seconds. Cant see anything will dissolve latex and not rubber though, both pretty similar materials arent they ?
