I'd start with 30 front and 35/40 rear (up this a bit if it's very rocky and/or you are heavier than 10st).

If you can ride a short loop, keep lowering the pressure and see how it feels.
I couldn't believe it when I stuck a gauge on at the end of a session in the woods and discovered I had less than 20psi in the front and only 25ish in the rear - the bike (steel hardtail) felt better than ever - it was like some sort of miraculous handling upgrade that should have costs hundreds of pounds.

Have fun and take a pump with you in case you overdo it!

Depends on your weight. I'm 210lbs and 30psi is the max I ever run. If wet and routy then maybe 25.

Do your tyres not squirm around run so soft - about 30 -35 is as low as I can go before the squidging and squirming feels horrid

As low as you can go pre-burp.

Worst answer I know...

I run about 20 on the front and about 25 on the back. Weigh 78kg

I'm 76kg. Riding down the garden path type test and I could see the tyres moving, which led me to ask the question. Felt like riding on a flat, but with more rolling speed that a fully inflated tubed tyre.

Its muddy woody singletrack so I'll stick to 30psi and see what gives....

I used to go as low as 20 PSI... and yes, excellent handling. However I found that my tyres kept losing pressure after a while. I only realised why when I put them under water (whilst on the wheel and inflated). Small bubbles were streaming from the sidewalls, even though I could not see any holes.
In summary, don't run them too low, you will trash your sidewalls.
BTW, I weigh 12 stone and run wide rims, which I highly recommend when going tubeless, especially with large tyres (Bontrager XR4s).

Depends on rim and tyre width.

Run Mud X's and 819 rims below 25psi, squim like mad - but on a Crest rim feel great.

I run a front Ardent down to 20psi, but the rear Larsen needs 30psi - on Crests.

Tyre sidewall stiffness is a fairly large factor in this too.

I prefer stiffer sidewalls and lower pressure - but this does place more emphasis on the quality and robustness of ones sidewalls!

5-10 psi less than you'd run with tubes is a good starting point ime.

25 front and 30 rear with 2.3" verts and my 16+ stone.

TJ as above it depends on the tyre and what you're riding. I can get get the combo above to squirm on bmx style berms at speed but not to the point of being a problem there or elsewhere.

About 22 front and 25 rear on a pair of Ralphs or Rons. Maybe a touch more if it's rocky.
