Anyone tried the below:

Picking up me new bike later today and comes with tubeless ready rims and tyres so thought I would try it. It is a Boardman ADV 8.9 so for road and bridleway use.
The kit seems very cheap compared to comparable ones (and even if the sealant isn't good the price seems worth it for the valves and gorilla tape!)
Not tried it but valves are often a tenner on their own. You can get ‘proper’ tape for £7 ish online- but sealant can cost quite a lot.
Guess it depends if the sealant in the kit is any good. I personally wouldn’t use gorilla tape as it can make a mess of the rim if you need to change it - but loads of people use it successfully.

Well tried it and would appear that the tyres aren’t actually tubeless. Lots of small holes in the sidewalls. Used 250ml but still a couple of holes. At won’t seal. Rim seems to have sealed well. If I get some Stans and put it in will it matter or do I need to clean it all out and start again or will it never seal?
