Seems to be quite a difference in price. Plotting my first skinsuit buy. Ordered a sale castelli san remo which is nice but sadly too large.

What else is a worth a look in the £150 range, or is there anything out there better value? Does the performance change much if you spend more?

The Castelli Body Paint is highly thought of, you may find somewhere selling it within your budget.

It is probably the law of diminishing returns though, a skinsuit with a decent pad and a good close fit is good enough for most amateurs. Also, if you are racing on the track then you should factor in the risk of writing it off (unless you are riding individual pursuit etc).

Fit is most important. No wrinkles. Castelli body paint 3.0 is very fast, as is the Smart suit. Bioracer also good, though they do loads of different versions.

I have the 2015 bioracer race proven aero suit TT (their snappy title) The fit is snug. It replaced an Endura long sleeve which will now go to cross duties. The bioracer suit is in a different league in terms of fit and materials.
Nopinz have started selling their own suits too.

The correct answer is obviously, whatever one is available in your club colours 😉

I've got an older Castelli Bodypaint one, think it's the 2.0. Like it a lot and fits me well. Our club now using Bioracer and must admit I'm tempted.

Meant to add... I got the Castelli one as it seemed well regarded and their aero stuff generally fits me very well. Was a couple of hundred quid I think. Could have spent less on a cheaper one I guess, but in the grand scheme of TT go faster spending it didn't seem like a lot of money!
