Looking for a new set of rims. Window shopping i see Wiggle are selling Spank rims. Anyone any experiences of Spank rims? Looking specifically at the [url= http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Spank_Subrosa_AL_30_Rims/5360040089/ ]Subrosa[/url] rims. Might get the white ones!

ordered some anyway when i found out they were German built (Vorsprung Durch Teknik) 🙂
They seem to love them at MBUK. Personally I haven't tried them, but they look pretty tough. I guess it depends on what type of riding you do.
I know someone had some green ones on here, on an Dialled Alpine if i remember right. Guess they must not visit anymore. Also guess everyone must use Mavic rims these days!
I have some brown ones. They're not that light but strong. The reverse Oompah rim or whatever they call it (basically a bump instead of a trough in the middle of the rim) makes getting tight tires on difficult. Other than that they're round, and have stayed round so far.
